"Mental" Saturday

So spent most nearly all of today around Lewis's.... was so much fun, yes that makes me sound like a 5 year old child but all the same still pissed about in town and acted like children for most of the day.

Ended up spending allot of the time around Stafford Mental Asylum which is abandoned, we couldn't get in but some of the photos we took are amazing, was still scary as fuck in the evening when it was pitch black and kept getting pulled by the security because they thought we where going to break in, we did go with the intention but its basically imposable to break in.

Been given some tips on the best time and place to break in tho if we wanted to and not get caught.

Lewis also cooked Fajitas whilst i "cooked" his maps on UT3 editor so i all fairness it was "a great success"

Friends, Uni Friends and More Unifriends

So friday evening was good and fun :)

The guys from uni (Stace, Tony and Aaron) came over to see me as of me having my operation and not having much contact with anyone for the past two weeks basically.

We went off into town and met the rest of the guys (Phil, Kirsty and Matt) in the white heart hotel, we had a few drinks, chilled and caught up.

Poor Stacey got a pint tipped down her by the bar maid... totally by accident but she still ended up paying for the second pint - tbh if that was me i would of refused to pay for it as Stacey was soaking, after a few more un-spilt drinks we headed to weatherpersons for a few more drinks and then to Tescos to get some munchies.

We just ended up lounging around at mine watching Viva La Bam till the early hours, was a good evening and will be even happier once everyone is back in Stafford.

Okay well my camera turned up just before everyone came over for the weekend so hence why this blog post is well over 3 days old now, So much for keeping up to date with things and doing this every single day! Suppose it was a weekend and i was with good company :)

So the camera i had was a Nikon D5000 SLR (More Info Here)

Only had chance to take a few photos at the time of getting the camera and having a slight mess about, i will post these updates in a future post with all the glory imagery goodness.

But so far it is amazing, the quality is so much better than that of a compact "normal" digital camera and photos are taken instantly without having to wait for the camera to focus and what ever else they to so you completely miss what you originally intended to take.

It was maybe a little expensive for £500 but I'm sure it will get its use.

Bored of Waiting :(

Why is it when your waiting for a delivery they always take ages to come but anytime its not anything important it comes at like 7am.

Wish my camera would turn up now......

Todays the Day :)

So super excited about today for a number of reasons i suppose....

Number 1)
I'm getting my new camera, think I've told like everyone i know about this and Ive just checked the DHL website to see that its "Out for delivery" whooooop!! will post some pictures of the un-boxing once i get it and no doubt my blog will be full of fancy photos from now on that I've taken with it.

Number 2)
All the guys from uni are coming over this afternoon and staying the night, Stace, Aaron, T-Dawg but I'm not sure about Paul as i think he ill be in Stafford today but again still not sure, going into town for a few bevvys and a catch up should be pretty cool and always puts a smile on my face seeing them spesh Stace. Not seen T-Dawg(Tony) since we went to Belfast so missed him loads. AHHH cant wait :)

Spring Clean...

What another boring day yesterday was.... so finished having my hair cut as you can see with the picture on the below blog then spent the rest of the day basically in my room chilling out and just sorting things out

Managed to clean the top of my wardrobe at last, it's been a mess for months well since i moved back from university. Got rid of about two bin bags worth of rubbish and paper work from there and now it currently just holds most of my teddy’s... Yes i know a 22 year old guy having teddy’s but they all have meaning and have to be kept for that reason :)

Whilst cleaning randomly came across some sea monkeys there have been there for about 2 months, un-watered and un-fed but to my surprise they are still alive... well two of them are. Cleaned them out with fresh water and it’s all looking clean, let’s just hope they survive.


My pre-12pm sleep thingy didn’t happen last night was at least 4am before i went to sleep and it’s not 8:30am... 4h30m sleep cannot be good for my body or the recovery process - woke up with a mouth feeling like i went on a big session last night and was singing for the most the day, but least the ear ache has subsided for now.

I know for a fact tonight isn’t going to be a pre-12pm sleeps as the gang are over but for that fact alone i don’t care if I’m awake all night

New Hair

Under The Chop

So woke up late even though I set my alarm and now sat here at the hair dressers still wishing I was in bed!

Whoooo the joys of insomnia must of had at max about 3 hours last night.

Deffo need to try and reset my body clock tonight and try and get to sleep Pre-12pm...unless I stay on the phone for hours again not that I'm complaining as it was a good call.

Not got much planned for today just sort out things for seeing some of the gang from Uni tomorrow - Aaron, Stace and T-dawg should be a good night.

Hopefully have my new camera when I get home as it was shipped yesterday but knowing my luck I won't get it till the weekend :(

That's about it really no disasters or nothing of that much importance.

New Icons for Glasklart

Created a few new icons for my iPhone today, out of boredom and also to make the phones theme not look incomplete. This was done using a template in Photoshop CS5 and following this Video

Boredom Sets In...

So over the past few days Ive.... cleaned my room up about a million times, sorted out all my TV and Movie things on my computer (still got Music left to do), chilled with a few friends and now I'm totally getting bored with nothing to do.

I should really install a few games onto my PC or set up the whole "work environment" so i can crack on with my FYP work when i return to university in September.

Early night in bed tonight as I'm up early to get my hair cut.. its currently getting longish for me and annoying as seen below, Will post a update once its been cut :)

It's half two in the morning and I'm still wide awake...

Just read my whole copy of FHM September edition.

One of the better editions but still don't like it as much as the older layout and style.

Still it managed too pass a few hours of my time...

Just watching some tv now "Modern Toss" and yep it's as good as the name states, it's a complete pile of toss.





Right rant over gonna switch everything off and see if I can sleep :/

A Day Without Drugs...

So some of you may read this as me being a pill head (that's only on rare occasions LAWL) but with having my tonsils out Ive been on painkillers every 4 hours for about a week now.. trying to go as long as passable today without them, woke up in agony and the whole ear ache thing again but that wore off and been into town and come back, not bad lasted about 5 hours more than i normally would.

Think its time to give in now and take some so i can eat.


7 Days into my recovery and I'm so bored being off work and tbh starting to need my sleep again after being up until about 4 this morning texting someone - You know who you are :P

New Iphone Skin :)

Okay so this morning put a new theme onto my Jailbroken iPhone 3GS

This skin is called Glasklartm, and its translation from Swedish means "clear as glass".

Monday.....

So today has been Monday... the day of the week most dread as they return to work, not me as I’m still off work ill but at the moment i wish i was back there.

Me and Mum are clashing so much today its untrue, got better as they day has gone one but just wanted to get out the house this morning to clear the air, didn’t happen till this afternoon because of my doc's appointment (which went well and I’m healing normally)

Setup a new media centre computer in the front room and slowly taught my mum how to use it.... sure its going to take her a few months to be able to use it fully.

Aaron has come up from Stafford today just chilled and watched a film n few TV episodes, not spoke much realy think so that’s because of my throat and just both generally being tired.

Starting to miss everyone from university so much now, be glad when I’m driving again so i can see my bezzie mate Lewis who has moved into Stafford and slowly start seeing everyone else as they return :)

Movies, Movies, TV Shows and More Movies

Okay I’ve got a very extensive TV show and Movie collection - all the files are all over the place, not named never watched or sorted... thought it was about time i sorted them out.

Because I’m lazy thought i would try and find a program to do it for me...normally too good to be true until i came across Ember Media Manager (http://www.embermm.com/)

This took all my movies and TV programs and then got all the information for them and i mean all. IMDB data, synopsis, actors and any posters or fan art and stores it in the same folder and it can rename the file and folder names too.

Next i installed a program called XBMC (http://www.xbmc.org)

XBMC is like Windows Media Centre on steroids so it’s pretty amazing can search by actors, title, genre anything you wish and it loads all the "cases" for the dvds so you can browse through without looking at the names and just the covers, makes it so much better to use and navigate.

A Lazy Lazy Sunday

Well today (now yesterday due to my lateness) was not a bad day at all, spent most of it on my computer sorting out all my DVD and TV shows and finally got them all sorted and imported.

Apart from that just been keeping on top of my meds as the pain seems to be getting worse at the moment, eating as normal and just generally chatting to random people online.

start talking to a girl who i will call "peach" from a popular dating site I’m on.... yes I’m on a dating site before you say anything and actually met some pretty cool people from there, nothing’s happened and I’ve not had the whole "I’ve found true love" thing yet but you never know what’s around the corner.

So yea "peach" i was up till about 3 this morning chatting away and it does seem like we have got some kind of connection and didn’t shut up talking, well in this case typing.

I wonder what Tomorrow (now today) will bring?

A Better than Expected Day :)

So today has been much better than i first thought.

The pain was so bad this morning but after the normal dose of pain killers and another hour in bed this soon went away.

Went out with Kristy up into town to have a look at digital SLR cameras, after this went to Tesco’s did some shopping, brought some beer for my friend Phil as a thank you for picking me up from the hospital and other bits and bobs for camping at Creamfields and Silverstone in the next few months

Later on ended up buying one on Jessops online a Nikon D5000 cost me too much but to the hell with it always wanted one and i know I’m going to take some amazing photos with it :)

Not heard from the girl who let me down today even though i got a promise that i would get a call so again been let down twice in a row by the same girl.. Starting to think why I bother at times.

Anyway it’s late, pains getting bad going to go bed before i spend any more money and start to get myself down

Looking forward to the weekend... NOT!!!

Right i suppose the best way to start this off is to jump straight into the deep end, no introductions, no background just jump straight in...

So today is day three of my recovery (had my tonsils out on tuesday) and tbh it’s going surprisingly well compared to what I’ve read about on other blogs and the internet! I’m eating well, sleeping well and generally been in a good. Pain is to a minimum and cutting back on the pain killers slowly so no doubt the pain will increase.


But life in general seems to be pretty crap at the moment - just been told the whole "just want to be friends" by a girl who i thought was pretty into me and have spoken quite in-depth with, it’s not been on a face-to-face basis just more so over SMS and Facebook but suppose me being me thought it would go somewhere and it's not - but least ive been told to the point and its not got complicated or anything like that, i hope i can stay friends with her and keep in contact :)

Then out of the blue as well a girl i going to be spending the day with tomorrow has cancelled on me... it’s just the luck of the draw i suppose bad things always come together normally in threes so waiting for the third now - just amazing how you can go from looking forward to a weekend to it going to be a shit weekend in the matter of a single text.

Looks like its going to be a weekend in bed and chilling some more.... I need to be with people soon otherwise im going to go insane :(
